What is DashLX?

DashLX makes it possible for brands to have highly personalized 1-1 messaging, email and other communications with customers triggered in real-time from real-world behaviors. It is an opt-in only service where brands' most valuable customers can share information about their runs, workouts, location and other activities in exchange for highly personalized and relevant brand and product messages, offers and loyalty benefits.

When customers get personalized training advice, specific product recommendations based on actual product use and encouragement when they achieve personal goals, they become more brand-loyal, engage more and advocate more for the brands that understand them.

What is "Dogfood"?

Dogfooding comes from a story about the president of Kal Kan pet food at one point demonstrating the quality of their product by eating it at a shareholders meeting. This idea of using your own product (eating your own dogfood) is commonly used to test products before they're released to customers in the tech industry to understand the user experience better.

How does DashLX work?

DashLX integrates Lived Experience Data from individual users' wearable devices, smart phones, IoT devices and other real-time, real-world data sources and enriches it with location, terrain, weather and other contextual data as well as brand-provided CRM data (including purchase history, shopping cart clickstream, loyalty club membership and other brand-owned user data).

This real-time, context-specific data allows brands to create hyper-personalized messages and emails for their opted-in customers: from recommending the right shoes based on conditions of todays trail run to applauding your progress as you finish this morning's triathlon training to sending you a voucher for your favorite hot drink as you're walking past your favorite coffee spot on a cold day.

DashLX operates with 100% user opt-in, zero-party data. People share their data because brands provide real value to them; and they can turn off their data flow whenever they want.
